About Me

MODERN COLOR PHOTOGRAPHY: Kolkata, West Bengal, India; I am a musician.As much as I like music I like photography too.Its an extension as a visual medium of my aural perception.Rhythm ,harmony and melody manifests itself as forms,colors and light.Just as I like the spontaneity of music I try to have the same spontaneity in my photographic process right from taking the camera out of the bag to seeing the final images. I like to photograph things and people as i have seen right at the moment.So my images have little or no editing whatsoever except re sizing and cropping (if needed)and RAW conversion if shot in that format(I am not good at editing either).I use a nikon dslr and a old film SLR camera.The light and color in the images were right before my eyes when I shot them.For this sometimes I had to wait for a long time for the right moment. thank you for visiting my site.
